    Chicken satay skewers

      



    Ingredients for 4 persons :

    • 3 chicken breasts
    • 4 shallots
    • 2 cloves garlic
    • ½ tsp. turmeric
    • 2 bird peppers
    • 1 knob of ginger
    • 1 lemongrass stick
    • 3 tbsp. tablespoon sweet soy sauce
    • the juice of 1 combawa
    • 20 cl of coconut milk
    • 250 g plain peanuts
    • olive oil

    Preparation steps

    1. Remove the seeds from the peppers. Crush the peppers with the chopped lemongrass, peeled and grated ginger and garlic. Fry the mixture in the pan in 1 tbsp. tablespoons of olive oil. Reserve this marinade.
    2. Blend the peanuts to form a paste. Add it to the pan with the coconut milk and soy sauce. Mix everything. Cook for 45 minutes over low heat. Add the combawa juice at the last moment.
    3. Cut the chicken into very small 1 cm pieces, thread them on small skewers next to each other. Leave to marinate for 3 hours in the spicy mixture.
    4. Brown the skewers on a grill or in a pan. Serve immediately with the satay sauce.
