    Roasted chicken flavored with lemon and thyme

    • 1Farmer's chicken

    • 1 untreated lemon

    • 1 small onion

    • 0,5Bouquet of thyme


    • Salt


    • Pepper

    Preparation steps

    1. Preheat the oven to th. 7-8 (220°C). Peel the onion and cut it into quarters. Rinse the lemon and cut it into slices.
    2. Garnish the inside of the chicken with the thyme, lemon and onion. Add salt and pepper.
    3. Bake the chicken for 15 minutes then lower the temperature to th. 6-7 (200°C). Pour 1/2 glass of water into the bottom of the dish, scraping up the cooking juices. Continue cooking for 45 minutes, basting the chicken regularly with the reduced juice.
