- Preheat the oven to th. 7-8 (220°C). Peel the onion and cut it into quarters. Rinse the lemon and cut it into slices.
- Garnish the inside of the chicken with the thyme, lemon and onion. Add salt and pepper.
- Bake the chicken for 15 minutes then lower the temperature to th. 6-7 (200°C). Pour 1/2 glass of water into the bottom of the dish, scraping up the cooking juices. Continue cooking for 45 minutes, basting the chicken regularly with the reduced juice.
